Hello world! Welcome to your one-stop website for home studio essentials. Top notch music production tools are a virtue, and if you’re a music producer, or if you’ve ever recorded music, then you know what I’m talking about. As a mixing engineer, I’ve spent countless hours researching and testing products for my own home studios in the past. I most definitely know the feeling when your newly recorded song is missing the sound that you’re looking for.

There’s no better feeling than pressing play on that one perfectly written, mixed, and mastered project that you’ve dedicated a great amount of time to, and feeling nothing but absolute bliss to your ear drums.

And that phenomenal and blissful feeling is what I want to bring to every musician who craves it.

I possess a very deep passion for creating music. I love to record my music as well as help others record and mix their own songs for them. I spend a great amount of my time finding the perfect mix and the perfect recordings.

I have a passion so deep that I gave up my music career for all the right reasons. In the past I was involved with a record label and was very unhappy, so I decided to become an independent artist once again.

I started writing rap lyrics when I was about 13 years old and have been listening to rap, and other great genres, on the radio as far as I can remember. Growing up I was heavily influenced by my father’s music style. He was a famous rapper in the local San Bernardino, California area at the time.

As a mixing engineer, I’ve always had a desire to go down as one of the greats in the music industry like many others, but at the same time I realized that having full control of the music I create is extremely valuable to me.

Present day, I’m still recording, producing, and mixing my own music on various DAWs and studio equipment. I still have a burning passion for creating and engineering music to this day, and I feel that that passion will be with me until the end of time. Writing and perfecting my lyrics, and making all around great music is most important to me while I’m in the studio.

The dynamic for creating music, and even listening to music is so much different from when it originated. The primary examples of the standard music mix has gotten much louder, heavily influenced by bass and other synth sounds that make a song stand out today.

If an artist or music producer wants to know what music is currently taking over the masses, more often than not they’ll go online and do some research on a music streaming site rather than go to the radio. The quality of music has changed significantly which is why producers need to upgrade their studio now and again to be in sync with the times.

I’m a lover of all music, new and old, which is why As a mixing engineer, I’ve grown to appreciate music as a whole rather than look down upon certain music just because it’s not the “new wave”. But just like musicians feel they should update their music style, producers are the same way with the necessary tools to make that music sound its best.

Nothing is perfect to a perfectionist like myself, although you can come pretty close to perfect with the right tools and procedures within your studio.

Not a lot of people have access to a professional industry studio with all the bells and whistles. I believe that even without the perfect studio, you can produce the perfect mix with the right equipment.

So go and explore all the different aspects and potential additions to your home studio. If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

All the best,

Owner & Founder of Home Studio Nation
